On holidays in the USA, Jasmin from Bavaria gets stranded in a run-down diner in the middle of the desert after a row with her husband. Although her situation seems desperate at first, Jasmin soon begins to make friends with the locals, including Brenda, the bad-tempered owner of the diner.
